Why Politics?
It's not politics, it's Humanity!
Strength in Tradition - Vision for Tomorrow
Everywhere I go, nearly 100% of my human interactions are positive and inspiring. I see only one humanity when I reflect on why I am here and what my role is. Though I was born in the USA, my roots extend beyond borders. My mother was an immigrant from Canada, while my father comes from a rich and diverse background that I will share throughout my life story, Bunker's Spoils.
We find ourselves on this small planet called Earth, within a much greater universe. We've built spacecraft to explore as far as we can reach, yet to this day, there has been no official discovery of another living civilization beyond our own. In this vast universe, I believe that every living creature on Earth aspires to happiness, to live in a state of utopia. If this is true, our actions are driven by a desire to thrive. And if that is true, our desires are shaped by our experiences.
There are many different desires driving our human needs, but there seem to be only a small number of governing bodies offering a roadmap for the largest sectors of our global population. Unfortunately, greed often gets in the way. Battles are being fought over who gets to control your soul. If your soul doesn’t fit into the available slots, you become an outcast. If it does fit, you become a soldier for the greater cause of that slot. And if you are quiet, you probably are an Independent.
When I think about what humanity truly desires, I envision a beautiful, giving society that works together to maintain not just the health of one border but of all humanity. It's like the story of the two wolves. We all have the power to choose which wolf we feed. In our world, I hope for a leader who isn't driven by selfish desires, but one who brings us together for the common good.
In the future, technology, including AI, will undoubtedly shape much of our shared journey. AI has the potential to enhance our lives and create new possibilities, but it also comes with significant responsibilities. We must use these tools wisely, ensuring that they support our human values and enhance our collective wellbeing. As we continue to build interactive online systems, we should aim for transparency and accountability so that technology remains a servant of humanity, not its master.
When I look out at my community, I see dreamers—amazing people without a place to dream or be heard. I want to be the person who listens to those dreams. I want to know your most ambitious goals in life! Together, we will identify the top five actions I can take to improve life for the greatest number of people, and I will fight for those dreams every single day.
I am not interested in politics for its own sake. I am interested in focusing my time and energy to leave a path of value and purpose. This is what humanity is missing. Our leaders are pouring resources into the fight. Politics worldwide equates to trillions of dollars spent on elections, and the fight doesn't stop after the election. It is consuming the entire global economy. But what about you, the everyday person? Who is truly fighting for you?
The greatest leaders in the world are often the small community leaders who inspire and uplift their neighbors. I want to take a step back and ask, "What is most important to you, and to us, so that we can live a satisfying life?" I want to hear your answers to that question. From there, I will take the top goals generated by the respondents and dedicate myself to achieving them. Together, we will continually set new goals and strive to improve our community.
When I am your representative, I will report back to you every week on what I have done to help accomplish our goals. And each week, I want to hear from you—what new dreams or changing goals do you have? I’m not here to fight an opponent I don’t know; I am here to serve humanity.
This is why I choose politics: not for the fight, but for the future—for the shared dreams of a better humanity, harmonized with the best of our technology.
