FOUNDER

Central Texas is built on strong values, hard work, tradition, and looking out for our neighbors. That is why George Bunker founded the CenTex BBQ Roundup (CTBR), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to making a lasting impact. Launching in March 2026, CTBR will bring together pitmasters, local restaurants, breweries, businesses, and families for an incredible BBQ competition, live music, a car show, and family-friendly entertainment. But beyond the fun, CTBR is about strengthening our community by raising funds for animal services in cooperation with Healing Heart Rehab and supporting community safety and emergency services across Central Texas.

This event would not be possible without the dedicated team working behind the scenes, and I am proud to support their efforts in making CTBR a reality. As we continue to build momentum, I encourage local business owners, competitors, and community members to get involved and be part of something that showcases the best of Central Texas.
