George Bunker served as HSE Director and Managing Partner at Validus Energy Aquilas Assetco LLC, where he helped develop and lead the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental program. Under his leadership, Validus achieved strong safety performance while rapidly expanding operations in the Eagle Ford Shale. In 2021, Validus acquired Ovintiv’s Eagle Ford assets for $880 million and was acquired by Devon Energy just 19 months later for $1.8 billion.
