George Scott Bunker

George Bunker has spent more than three decades building systems that work for people, for business, and for the greater good. With a lifelong career in the energy and water sectors, he has developed and led safety and business management programs that strengthen organizations from the ground up. His approach is grounded in accountability, innovation, and care for the people behind the work. 

Beyond business, George’s passion lies in giving back. He co-created Empower Freedom, an initiative dedicated to fighting human trafficking within the energy sector, and was a founding contributor to Energy Strong, a platform built to unite and uplift energy professionals nationwide. As co-founder of the Texas BBQ Bash and founder of the Central Texas BBQ Roundup (CTBR), George has turned community connection into a movement, blending tradition, service, and purpose to raise support for animal welfare, emergency services, and youth programs across Central Texas.

At the heart of it all is family. George and his wife, Tracie, have shared 32 years of love, faith, and adventure, raising their children and celebrating the joy of being grandparents. Together, they’ve built a life centered on hard work, compassion, and gratitude.
